![]() The ABV for me is ideal and if this was on tap in a pub I would happily sink a few of these. ![]() I now have my Brewzilla 3.1 35L setup and. It is a fantastically solid IPA with good flavour and an even better nose to it. This time around, I decided to go with a Mango IPA since I love mango and wanted to try making a fruit beer. As much as I loved the name of the beer when I saw it on the shelves I was worried it might be a tad gimmicky. I’d be lying if I wasn’t sure how this beer would turn out. I’d say the can design perfectly describes what the beer smells like! The carbonation of the beer is fantastic as well so the flavour is really pushed around your mouth.Ī quick note on the can art: Quite funky art on this one with the fruit. Even get hints of tropical fruits on the front end. Even if you forget everything else, if you drive with this concept alone, the pairings are near endless. Or one of my personal favorites a Citra session IPA with delicate, white fish tacos and a squeeze of lemon. Lovely hoppiness without an overbearing bitterness on the finish. The big citrus and mango of that beer resonated with the cured citrus of the fish and bed of mango cubes. ![]() The beer itself has a really good flavour to it. Genuine notes of mango but also an aroma that reminds me of dried pineapple pieces. I’ve had a trend, recently, of beers having an amazing and accurate nose to them and this one is absolutely no different. The visual on the beer is a nice golden haze and formed a nice white head. Mainly because, if it’s a cracking beer you can treat yourself to a few more! A quick glance at their website shows they tend to make lower ABV sessionable beer, something I’m a fan of. Today I’ve got the brilliantly named ‘Mango Unchained’ from Manchester based, ShinDigger Brewing Co. Taking a quick break from the Tiny Rebel haul to try out another new brewery.
